                          तार हुआ बेकार   “तार आया है “   सुन कर एक बारगी दिल की धड़कने थमने लगती थी । पता नहीं क्या है अच्छा या बुरा । ज़्यादातर बुरे की आशंका से मन बेचैन हो जाता था। क्योकि समान्यतया ये ऐसी खबरों के लिए स्तेमाल होता था जिनका जल्द से जल्द दिया जाना आवश्यक होता था और ऐसी खबरें अच्छी कम ही होती हैं ।   साधारणतया इसका उपयोग जन्म , म्रत्यु , शोक और बधाई संदेशो हेतु होता था।     व्यापारिक गतविधियों मे भी इनका उपयोग होता था । इनसे दी गई सूचना को कानूनी मान्यता थी ।   इनके रेकॉर्ड को इसलिए संभाल कर रखा जाता था । बैंकों मे मुद्रा प्रेषण हेतु तार भेजे जाते थे । इसमे कोई धांधली न कर सके इसके लिए बड़ी जटिल कोड प्रक्रिया (चेक सिग्नल) अपनाई जाती थी। तार का मतलब ही था कम शब्द , कम समय (तेज गति ) मे संदेश प्रेषण और डेलीवेरी सुनिश्चित संदेह से परे । इसलिए अत्यधिक महत्वपूर्ण कार्यों के लिए ही इसका स्तेमाल होता था । कहा तो ये भी जाता है की बहुत से सरकारी कर्मचारी अपनी छुट्टी स्वीकृत कराने हेतु भी झूठे तार का सहारा लेते थे ।   आगामी 15 जुलाई 2013 से भारत संचार निगम तारों का प्
